Traffic
On a given day, approximately 13,500 vehicles travel along this portion of US 17. Every effort is being made to minimize traffic delays during construction.

Traffic Update
Crews working on the widening of US 17/ACE Basin Parkway in Beaufort County expect to make additional asphalt paving improvements to the Garden’s Corner Interchange of US 17 and US 21 on Saturday, March 7, 2010 between 7:30 am and 6 pm. This paving operation is subject to weather conditions and will be rescheduled if conditions are not favorable.
Flaggers, temporary signage, and message boards will be present to direct traffic while paving is underway. Drivers are asked to prepare for traffic stoppages and drive with caution through the construction zone. Once the improvements are made, flagging operations will cease and unimpeded traffic may resume at the posted 35 mph speed limit.
As always, please use caution in the construction zone.
